Police Exploration - Middle School

Step into the world of law enforcement at our Policing Summer Camp! This action-packed, week-long program gives participants a hands-on introduction to policing, focusing on teamwork, patrol techniques, and career exploration. Campers will engage in interactive scenarios, learning essential skills such as communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving. Through team-building exercises, simulated patrols, and Q&A sessions with law enforcement professionals, participants will gain valuable insight into the roles, responsibilities, and challenges of a police career. Join us for an exciting week of learning, leadership, and law enforcement training! Camps are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. Some activities will be outside so students should dress for the weather.

Leadership Through Teambuilding Camp

What can you do in the outdoors? Have lots of fun and learn how to be part of a team. In this camp, students will learn 10 common knots used in outdoor activities and the tools and materials needed for overnight adventures in the outdoors. They’ll also participate in fun teambuilding games and learn how to build a shelter! Note: Each week will be a different experience. Camps are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. Most activities will be outside, as well as involving art, so students should dress for the weather, wear clothes that might get paint or dirt on, must bring water bottle.

Carpentry Skills For Community Literacy Camp

Have you seen those small lending libraries on posts in your neighborhood? In this week-long camp, participants will build similar structures and mount them on cedar posts. When completed, the lending libraries will be shared with community partners across Monroe to share the love of reading with our neighbors. In addition to learning how to measure, cut and assemble wooden parts, this camp will include mathematics, reading and writing activities to build essential carpentry skills. Camps are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. Hands-on lab activities will be conducted during the morning, with math, reading and writing activities conducted after lunch. Lunch will not be provided; students should plan to bring their own.

Forensic Camp - High School
