About this Camp
Have you seen those small lending libraries on posts in your neighborhood? In this week-long camp, participants will build similar structures and mount them on cedar posts. When completed, the lending libraries will be shared with community partners across Monroe to share the love of reading with our neighbors. In addition to learning how to measure, cut and assemble wooden parts, this camp will include mathematics, reading and writing activities to build essential carpentry skills.
