South Piedmont is pleased to offer this 80 hour course that meets the educational requirement for the North Carolina Real Estate Broker License. It will prepare you to pass the real estate broker examination administered by the N.C. Real Estate Commission (NCREC).
Requirements

There is not a minimum age for this course per SPCC policy, but there are considerations from the NC Real Estate Commission:
The individual must be 18 years old to get their Real Estate License. Also, there is a 3-year expiration date for the course completion certificate. To qualify for an individual real estate broker license, an applicant must be a United States citizen, a non-citizen national or a qualified alien under federal law, or have a lawful presence in the U.S. The individual must have a social security number.
REGISTRATION FOR THIS COURSE ENDS ON JUNE 15,2026 AT 12:00PM.
This course is offered Wednesday, June 17, 2026 - Wednesday, August 12, 2026. This class will meet live online with their facilitator for the entire course. This course meets weekly on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm (SYNC). Assignments will also be completed and turned in outside of course meeting times. A mandatory in-person exam at the Monroe campus (4209 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe, NC 28110) will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 9:00am.

A reminder of the attendance policy for this course:
Per NCREC Policy, students must not miss more than three (3) virtual class sessions, or they will be removed from the class.
Per SPCC policy, students must participate by the census date, or they will be removed from the class.
Per SPCC policy, students must complete at least one online assignment and/or attend a virtual class once per week (7 days) throughout the course or else they will be removed from the class.
