About this Camp
Join South Piedmont's Student Success Team for our four-day Public Speaking Summer Camp for students ages 14–18, where you’ll build confidence, sharpen your communication skills, and discover how to make your voice heard in any setting.
This engaging, hands-on camp goes beyond the basics to explore advanced techniques in speech writing, argument building, storytelling, and persuasive delivery. Students will learn how to adapt their message to different audiences, use body language and vocal expression effectively, and manage nerves before stepping in front of a crowd.
Public speaking is one of the most valuable skills for future success. It helps students excel in class presentations, interviews, college admissions, and leadership roles. Participants will gain practical experience through interactive workshops, small group coaching, and real-time feedback.
